Scripting Manifestation

Scripting Manifestation: Blow Up Your Reality

Scripting manifestation allows you to draw out your dream life, make the universe align with that script and (best of all) it’s a technique that practically holds your hand through the process. Possibly one of the best techniques for beginners to see real results from manifestation.

Or even for experienced practitioners to turbo-charge their manifestation practice by adapting their old-school affirmations for some nitro-fueled scripting. Can you tell I’m excited? I’m a big fan of this method.

The scripting manifestation technique is (basically) the process of writing out the life you want in the present tense. It sounds simple, but the process of scripting your desires this way drives both your subconscious and the universe to make it happen.

Don’t be fooled by the simplicity of the idea.

Manifestation scripting can be incredibly powerful and has some real potential to shift your reality for the better.

That said, there are traps and pitfalls most people fall into so please don’t run off and start writing down all the things you want. Give me a few minutes to make sure you have a solid understanding of how this works, what to do and how to really see results from your manifestation.

So let’s get into the nitty-gritty. Trust me, it’ll be worth it.

What is Scripting in Manifestation (And Examples)

Manifestation techniques all have the same basic idea.

  • Freeing your future from whatever has been holding you back.
  • Changing your mindset and (therefore) changing your action.
  • Telling the universe: This is what I want and I’m damn sure going to make it happen.

While the techniques (like 55×5 technique and the pillow method) all vary in detail they all come down to this same goal.

Scripting for manifestation looks like this. Taking this guide as an example, if I wanted to make it popular and make sure it helps people I would write in the present tense as if it had already happened. Some examples would be:

  • I am so glad my guide on scripting manifestation helps people.
  • I am excited my scripting manifestation guide is popular.
  • I am thrilled people are changing their life thanks to this guide.

It doesn’t matter if I haven’t even published this page yet, I’m scripting my reality as if it was already popular.

Why is Scripting So Powerful? (Important)

You’ve probably heard about the process of affirmations and mindfulness. (If you haven’t, no big deal). There’s absolutely nothing wrong with these practices. We talk about them all the time here on the site.

The problem is they can be hard. They require a lot of focus and attention so, if you’re anything like me, your mind is going to wander before you actually see any results.

So original affirmations would look something like this (sticking with the first example):

  • My post will be popular.
  • My post will help people.
  • My guide on scripting will change lives.

Don’t get me wrong. There’s still power to positive affirmations (and a lot of variations on how you use them) but can you see the difference?

Scripting is kind of like a cheat code for manifestation.

In order for positive affirmations to work you need to actually allow them to warp your reality. This times a lot of concentration because your mind knows this isn’t the reality.

Scripting for manifesting skips this mental block.

We’re tricking our subconscious into thinking we’ve already achieved the result which, in turn, changes our behavior drawing us closer to making it actually a reality.

So, here’s the big question…

Does Scripting Manifestation Work?

Yes.

Does Scripting Manifestation WorkThat’s the short answer.

It can be absolutely life-changing. Like you would not believe. It can land you a dream job, a happy marriage or pretty much anything you desire.

A manifestation script can be applied to any aspect of your life. I, personally, use them almost daily. They were genuinely a big part of what made this site as big as it is.

But not so fast.

If it was as easy as writing I have won the lottery I’m sure neither of us would be here right now. We’d be on a private island sipping fancy cocktails.

The truth is most people will fail with manifestation. This is not something most people are talking about but I want you to actually get results with your practice.

So there are some rules I’d suggest you follow to help you avoid the common pitfalls. If you’re new to manifestation entirely (or you haven’t seen results yet) you might want to follow along with our workbook.

How Do You Write to Manifest (Step by Step)

There are a lot of factors that will decide how successfully (or how quickly) your scripting will bring dreams into reality.

  • Your experience with manifestation.
  • How close you are to the goal already.
  • Your energy and vibration during the process.
  • Matching your action to your intention.

Consider these the scripting manifestation rules. If you’re more experienced, you can tweak any of this as you see fit but, if you’re just getting started I would follow them. This will help skip most of the common mistakes.

Step 1: Setting Your Intention (Don’t Skip This)

Don’t run off and try to win the lottery or find yourself in your ideal relationship right away. The biggest hurdle you need to get by early on is patience. Manifestation and mindfulness practices are best done on small goals, to begin with.

Let’s learn to walk before we can run.

When we talk about future life, let’s go with something you’re likely to see within the next week or two. Something you’re close to and maybe just need a little nudge.

(Don’t worry, we can work on bigger stuff later on but I want you to see results on the smaller stuff first).

I can’t set your intention for you. The more personal it is (and the bigger your emotional attachment) the more successful it will be. Your script needs to be unique to you in this moment. This isn’t just something you kind of want it should at least be a step towards something which makes your heart skip a beat.

Some real manifestation examples for shorter-term goals could be:

(Remember, manifestation scripting is in the present tense).

  • I’m so happy this person reached out to me.
  • I feel like I have boundless energy now.
  • I’m so excited the first date went well.
  • I officially started my dream business.

know this isn’t what you want to hear. YouTubers are telling you that you can win the lotto jackpot and meet your soulmate by tomorrow. If you want to really reach goals like that then it’s important to start small and you can start scripting for the bigger goals later on. Trust me, it’s worth it.

Step 2: Believe in Your Script

This is one of the reasons I want you to start small with something you’re already close to.

If you don’t believe in your manifestation script then the universe knows you’re just writing down a wishful thought.

We’re not writing your hopes and dreams onto a scrap of paper. We’re trying to lead your subconscious by the nose into believing this has already happened.

That doesn’t work if you know you’re writing nonsense.

Start small with something that you actually believe you could achieve in the next week. Write as if it was next week and it’s already happened.

The more you see results from your law of attraction exercises, the bigger the goal you can set because you begin to see it working. If you move too fast, too soon your subconscious knows this isn’t reality.

Step 3: Matching Actions to Your Script

Once your subconsciousness knows how to act and the universe knows what you want, you need to get out of your own way.

If you are scripting to manifest a new job, you can’t just sit back and wait for the job offer to arrive.

Help the universe to help you.

Scripting manifestation aligns your behavior and reality into making it happen. The universe will put the opportunity in front of you and you’re free from previous paradigms holding you back.

You’ll still need to take advantage of this shift.

Going with the new job example, you’ll still need to look for opportunities and show up to the interview.

Effective scripting will make the process a whole lot easier.

Step 4: Keep Going

Something which separates people who turn their scripts into their future reality is they constantly follow their manifestation practice.

Keep going until you see results.

If you fall back into your old habits and mindset the universe will return to the status quo. If you’re not seeing the results you’d expect, revisit step 1 and maybe scale back your goals a bit for the moment.

It might help to keep a manifestation journal as you go. It will help keep your mind focused, your practice consistent and, over time, you can look back and see the long-term results which will motivate you to push your goals even further.

FAQs

I get very excited when I talk about law of attraction scripting. It was one of the first techniques I ever used and I use it in most other techniques now rather than normal affirmations.

If you’re still struggling, not quite getting something or not seeing results then get in touch. I’ll try to cover the common questions here.

What to do After Scripting Manifestation

Scripting is a continual process. After scripting, move on with your day and (following step 3) match your actions to your script. Make positive movements towards bringing it to reality.

Try to be mindful of the tense of your script. You’ve already reached your goals so act like it and watch the universe get out of your way.

Can I Throw Away My Manifestation Paper?

This is a personal choice. Some choose to keep their manifestation paper or script entirely within a manifestation journal.

It can help to track your manifestations over time so you can see how they’ve helped and that will drive you to push your goals further.

But the actual piece of paper you write on is not the important part. The mindfulness and the action of writing the script are what matters. If you want to throw it away, throw it away.

How Many Times Should You Write a Manifestation?

Different techniques will vary. The 55×5 technique, for example, would mean writing your goal 55 times.

You don’t need to write it out this many times, as a general rule: Write it as many times as it takes for you to be mindful about your goal. If once is enough, write it once.

Sometimes it depends on the day. If your mind is buzzing with distractions then you might need to keep repeating it until it sinks in.

Do You Script Every Day?

I would script every day if you’re new to manifestation. You don’t need to but our goal here is mindfulness and consistency is the easiest way to keep your scripted manifestation alive in your subconsciousness.

If you fall back into your old patterns then nothing is going to change. Scripting once every 6 months is very unlikely going to shift your reality.

Can You Manifest Too much?

While being consistent is important, you can definitely script too much. If you fall into a trap of wishful thinking rather than actively manifesting and matching your actions to your intent then you’re unlikely to see results.

The actual number of times you manifest doesn’t matter. It’s a matter of where you devote your energy so you could script your intentions out 10 times a day – as long as you’re also working towards them.

Can I Write My Manifestation On My Phone?

You technically can, however, I wouldn’t suggest it. The actual medium of your scripting doesn’t matter nearly as much as the mindfulness that goes behind the writing process.

The simple act of taking the time to take out your scripting manifestation journal and take pen to paper is likely to put you in a consistent mindset. Your phone is on the complete opposite end of that spectrum. It’s full of distractions.

There are no hard-set rules with manifestation but my advice would be only to manifest on your phone if you have no other option at all.
